What is a play-in? A play-in is a casual rehearsal during which an orchestra reads through many selections (often for the first time) with minimal workshopping and simply for the enjoyment of the music.

We are currently welcoming violin, viola, cello, and double bass musicians. Whether you used to play in grade school or just started learning in the past few years - DASC has a spot for you! No audition required.

*DASC Symphony continues to offer financial aid - it is important to us that our camp remain accessible for all who want to participate, regardless of financial status. Find the FA option near the bottom of the registration form.

Come to all of the play-ins or just one! For members who are able to attend at least one play-in, we are offering performance opportunities. Pricing: 1 play-in / $45, 2 or more play-ins $40 / each

Our very first play-in of The Holiday Session! We will be holding a cookie exchange during this session. Bring your leftover Thanksgiving treats or bake new ones to trade with other DASC-ers. Click here for the play-in schedule. Map pin

Join us at Arvada's Altitude Church for our second play-in of The Holiday Session. Coaches will be available for small group and individual coaching throughout the play-in. We will be hosting a white elephant gift exchange during this play-in. Click here for the play-in schedule. Map pin

We will be performing in the lobby before the CSO Holiday Brass concert! 1 complimentary ticket per player will be available if you would like to attend the show afterwards!

Our final play-in of The Holiday Session followed by a volunteer performance out in the community! We will be hosting a holiday/winter costume contest during this play-in - prizes will be awarded to three contestants who can knock the socks off of our esteemed panel of judges. This is a community outreach performance - we will be playing for residents at Brookdale University Park Senior Living Facility. All performers who have attended at least one play-in are welcome! If you will not be able to attend a play-in, but would like to perform on this concert, please email dascsymphony@gmail.com. Sign up for this opportunity on the registration form.
